The No Contact app · free · iPhone

Somewhere else to go when you want to text them.

Knowing the rule is one thing. Getting through Day 4 at midnight is another. No Contact counts your days and, in the moment you want to reach out, hands you a 20-minute timer, a breathing guide, a grounding exercise, and a place to write the message and watch it dissolve.

In the moment

What happens when you tap “I want to reach out”

  1. 1

    You see your reasons

The list you wrote on a clear-headed day, right when you need it most, plus a one-line reminder that the wave passes.

  2. 2

    You pick a tool

Start the 20-minute wait, breathe, ground yourself, or write it all into the void. Use one or all four.

  3. 3

    You log it, honestly

“The urge passed, I held” adds to your count of urges beaten. “I reached out” resets to day 1 without judgment.

Everything inside

Eight tools. Zero accounts.

Day counter

Your streak, a ring to the next milestone, and a short note for the phase you're in. Backdate it if you've already been quiet a while.

“I want to reach out” button

One tap the moment you want to text them. Your reasons, a reminder that the wave passes, and every tool below in one place.

20-minute wait

A timer that runs even if you close the app. Most urges crest and pass before it ends. Then you decide, not the urge.

Into the Void

Write the text you want to send them, all of it, then watch it dissolve. It's never sent.

Guided breathing

Box, 4·7·8, slow, or a physiological sigh. The circle leads, a soft haptic marks each phase.

5·4·3·2·1 grounding

Come back to the room you're in instead of the conversation that isn't happening.

One-minute check-ins

Mood, urge strength, and a line for future you, with a daily prompt.

Progress you can see

Streaks, urges held, a check-in calendar, and mood and urge trends. See how it's changing, week by week.
